Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026. This is the plain version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and ships no tracking script of any kind. Everything below is about the small amount of information you hand us on purpose.
Who this covers
Stavros Media is a website and marketing company for contractors, operated by Stavros Group LLC. In this policy, we and us mean Stavros Media.
This policy covers stavrosmedia.com and the services we sell. It does not cover any other company's website, including websites we build for our clients, which carry their own policies.
There are two different roles we can be in, and they matter. For visitors to this website, we decide what is collected and why. For our clients, we run systems that handle their own customers' information on their instructions. Those customers should read their contractor's privacy policy, not this one. The section on client systems below explains what we do with that information.
What this website collects
Nothing automatically, beyond the ordinary server records described below. This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no chat widget.
The site does run a few small scripts of its own, and none of them watch what you do. They check the form and show you it went through without leaving the page, and swap lessons in the video player. The form still works with scripts turned off.
Nothing from another company loads until you press a button for it. Pressing a booking button loads Cal.com's calendar; pressing play loads the video from Cloudflare's video service. From then on that company sees your visit, and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security and reliability: the IP address a request came from, the time, the page asked for, and the browser's user-agent string. We use these only to keep the site up and to defend it from abuse. We do not build profiles from them and we do not connect them to you.
We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence models.
What you give us on purpose
If you book a call, you give us your name and email address, and if you choose, your mobile number, how you heard about us, your answers about recording and texts, and anything you type in the notes. Our scheduling runs on Cal.com, and the booking is written to our business calendar at Google. What you write is seen only by us and those two services.
If you call or text the number on this site, we get your phone number and the content of the call or message. If you email us, we get your email address and whatever the email contains.
If you use a form on this site, it collects your name, email address, phone number and the answers you pick or type, and sends them to us as an email. Nothing is sent until you press the button, and nothing watches you fill it in.
Those details are written to a holding table only long enough to be certain the email reached us, and the record is deleted the moment it does. On a normal day nothing is left behind. That holding step exists so a mail outage delays your message instead of losing it, not so we can keep a copy.
If you give an email address on a form, we send one automatic email to it saying your request arrived. So that nobody gets that email more than once a day, we keep a scrambled fingerprint of the address — not the address itself — for 24 hours, then delete it.
We use all of this for one thing: to answer you, and to work out whether we can help you. We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.
Recorded calls
Our calls run on Cal.com's video service. The booking form asks whether we may record the call, and we ask again, out loud, before recording starts. Say no and we don't record; nothing else about the call changes.
A recording is kept on our own computer, not uploaded to any online service. We use it to keep accurate notes of what you told us and to better serve our customers. Nobody outside Stavros Media watches it, and we never use one, or a quote from one, in an ad, a case study or on this site without asking you first.
We keep recordings for 12 months, then delete them. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Text messages
We text you only if you gave us your number and asked us to, or if you texted us first, in which case an automatic reply asks you to call us. We do not buy phone numbers and we do not text people who have not asked to hear from us.
When you book a call and tick the box to get texts, we keep your mobile number and that answer, and use them only to text you about that booking: a confirmation, a reminder and the short video to watch before we talk. Our booking form runs on Cal.com, but the box to get texts on it is ours: what you give there for texts is covered by this policy, and Cal.com's own terms and privacy policy cover only its booking tool.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, and HELP for help. Stopping messages does not close your account or cancel anything you have bought; it stops the texts.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the companies that run our booking form, our calendar and our texts for us (Cal.com, Google and Twilio), and only so that the texts you asked for reach you.
Information inside the systems we run for clients
The products we sell for contractors handle the contractor's own customers. Missed-call text-back sends a text to someone who called our client and did not get through. Review requests send a message to someone our client has finished a job for.
If a client has us run their Google Business Profile, we read their reviews, including each reviewer's public name, through Google. Anthropic's Claude drafts replies and posts, and a person approves each one in a Telegram chat before anything goes up. We keep the drafts with Cloudflare and wipe the review, the reviewer's name and the draft after 30 days. The approval cards stay in the Telegram chat, and can show the review, the reviewer's public name and the reply. Anthropic doesn't train its models on what we send it.
In those systems the information belongs to our client, not to us. We hold it because we run the software, we act on our client's instructions, and we do not use it for our own marketing, do not sell it, and do not move it between clients.
If you are one of our client's customers and you want your information corrected or removed, the fastest route is to ask that contractor directly, because it is their record. You can also write to us at the address at the bottom of this page and we will pass it on and help.
Who else sees it
We keep the list of companies in the chain deliberately short, and we do not sell your information to anybody, for any purpose. The companies that may handle it on our behalf are these.
Cloudflare hosts this website, serves every page, sends the emails our forms produce and plays our videos. Google provides our email and calendar. Cal.com runs the booking calendar and the video calls. Stripe takes our clients' payments. Twilio carries calls and texts to and from our number, and the text messages for the missed-call and review-request products. Anthropic and Telegram run the review replies described above. Each of these handles information to provide that service to us, under its own privacy policy.
Beyond those, we disclose information only when the law requires it, when we need to defend a legal claim, or if the business is ever sold, in which case it would transfer with it and this policy would continue to apply until you were told otherwise.
None of this applies to text messaging opt-in data and consent: beyond the companies named under Text messages, those are never shared with any third party.
How long we keep it
Booking records and email stay in our calendar and mailbox for as long as we are in touch, and are cleared out when they are no longer useful to either of us.
Call recordings are kept for 12 months, then deleted, or sooner if you ask.
Form submissions are not archived. The system writes a record only long enough to be certain the email reached us, then deletes it. On a normal day nothing is left behind.
Information inside client systems is kept for as long as we run that system for that client, and is deleted or handed over when the client leaves.
Cloudflare's server logs age out on Cloudflare's own schedule, which is short and which we do not control.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. You can tell us to stop contacting you and we will. You will never be charged for asking, and we will not treat you differently for it.
Write to the email address below and say what you want. We answer these within thirty days. We may need to check who you are first, so that we are not handing your information to somebody else.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you more specific rights than these. Ask, and we will honour them.
Security, children, and changes
This website only loads over an encrypted connection, and the accounts that hold your information are protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfect, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something.
This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen.
If this policy changes we will change the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects what we do with information you have already given us, we will tell you directly rather than quietly editing the page.
